Hoisting Carbonization Furnace
Hoisting carbonization furnace is a tank-style distillation carbonization stove. It has big diameter, large capacity, easy installation, simple operation, and wide application for biomass materials carbonization.
Working Principle of Hoisting Carbonizing Furnace
1. Put the biomass rod into the steel basket
Materials put into the steel basket can be wood log, bamboo, coconut shell, and sawdust briquette. Hoist the steel basket into the inner stove.
Seal the furnace and ignite at the ignition port below the furnace. When the materials start to produce plenty of combustible gas, use the combustible gas to heat the furnace after being filtered by its filtration system. When the combustible gas output from the filtration system is significantly reduced, the flame is extinguished and the carbonization is over. The total carbonization time usually takes about 12 hours.
3. Take out the steel basket
Hoist the steel basket out of the furnace and put it in somewhere to cool down. The cooling time often takes about 12 hours.
Factors influencing carbonize quality and ratio:
1. Carbonization rate
A high carbonization rate will decrease carbonization yield, but will largely improve the production capacity of the carbonization equipment.
2. Carbonization process
New carbonization machines are welcomed by the market while carbonization kilns are unpopular due to their backward technology.
3. Carbonization pressure and moisture content
Carbonization generally carried out under normal pressure. High pressure can increase carbonization output but requires high-quality equipment and operating costs, and improper operation of pressure increasing and decreasing will cause explosion danger. Carbonization time is directly influenced by material’s moisture content——generally, moisture content should not be too high.
